Jadescape - The North-South Corridor

Jadescape is located within the North-South Corridor (NSC). The North-South Expressway - originally conceived as a 21.5km expressway to connect towns in the North to the city centre - is being redesigned as North-South Corridor to better enable cycling and walking. The NSC will be Singapore's first integrated transport corridor featuring continuous bus lanes and cycling trunk routes.

The construction of NSE will benefit residents living in the north and north-eastern sectors of Singapore as it caters to the expected growth in traffic demand generated by new developments there. Running parallel to the Central Expressway (CTE), NSE will help to alleviate the traffic load on the heavily-utilised expressway, as well as on the major arterial roads nearby such as Thomson Road and Marymount Road.

The dedicated bus lanes for express bus services will reduce travelling time from Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun and Bishan/Ang Mo Kio to the city by up to 30mins and also make bus connections between residential towns along the NSC faster.
